As  per her wishes, there will be no funeral.

A service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Porterville.

Carla Michelle Torres

Carla Michelle Torres, a resident of Porterville, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at the age of 33.

A service will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Porterville.

Interment to be private.

Billy Eugene Elmore

Billy Eugene Elmore, a resident of Bakersfield, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at the age of 80.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Word of Life Fellowship in Bakersfield.

A service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Word of Life Fellowship and also at 11 a.m. Thursday at Landmark Christian Center in Porterville.

Internment will be in Porterville District Cemetery.
