Democrats host final debate watch party

VISALIA

The Tulare County Democrats will host a TV Watch Party featuring the final of three televised Presidential debates on Monday at its Democratic headquarters, Battleground California-Tulare, located at 1616 W. Mineral King Avenue in Visalia.  

Doors open at 5 p.m. and the TV debate is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Food and drinks will be provided and donations will be accepted.

The local Democrats have hosted the entire series of Presidential and Vice Presidential debates as a service to the community.

Bob Schieffer of Face the Nation on CBS will be the moderator of the final 2012 presidential debate which is being held at Lynn University in Boca Baton, Florida.

The debate will cover foreign policy and be divided into nine time segments of approximately 10 minutes each.
