Festival of Hope set for September; booth registration under way

The Tulare County Suicide Prevention Task Force is now accepting registration forms for information booths at the Festival of Hope, Music and Chalk Mural Festival. The Festival is set to take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 4 and 5 at the Preferred Outlets, 1401 Retherford St., Tulare.

The two-day event is designed to inspire and promote a community approach to suicide prevention and to disperse information and resources, a press release said.

According to the release, groups that intend to have a booth should be present for both days of the event and must be for information and resources only — vending goods is prohibited.
