Wristbands on sale for Spring Kids Fest
Wristbands are now on sale for the 6th Annual Spring Kids Fest. The Porterville Parks and Leisure Services event will be from noon to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Veterans Park.
The Kids Fest will be host to a 100 foot giant slide, carnival rides, rock climbing wall, numerous bounce houses, obstacle course, toddler play area, trackless train rides, air brush tattoos, games, food and local performers. There will also be a special show at 2 p.m. by the E & M Reptile Family.
This year the Kids Fest is sponsored by the Pizza Factory, Porterville Breakfast Lions, Porterville Women’s Medical Associates and Carroll’s Tire Warehouse. The event is designed for children ages 2 to 12 years old.
Admission to the park is free, however, children must have a wristband to participate in the activities. Wristbands may be purchased in advance for $3 at the Heritage Center, located at 256 E. Orange Ave., Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or for $5 at the event.
