Local ranch set to celebrate Farmers Market Week

SPRINGVILLE — Springville Ranch is hosting a Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, wherein locals can purchase fresh produce and grass-fed beef, enjoy live music by Patti Torrey, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities and other attractions.

The event coincides with National Farmers Market Week, Aug. 2 through 8.

According to the USDA, the Springville Ranch Farmers Market is one of about 4,800 in the country, and about 400 in California. The Springville Ranch has just re-opened and is currently booking weddings and special events. This will be its first Farmers Market since re-opening.

This special market will feature local farmers selling a wide variety of products, including fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables and grass-fed beef.

Springville Ranch is located at 34600 Highway 190, at the corner of Highway 190 and Balch Park Road, Springville.

There are still openings for local vendors to participate.
