Volunteers to be honored at 90th annual banquet in Exeter

Exeter’s Man and Woman of the Year, Heritage, Beautification and Business of the Year will be honored at the Exeter Chamber of Commerce 90th Annual Banquet, at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Exeter Veterans Memorial Building.

Tickets are $40 each and are available at the Exeter Chamber of Commerce.

The honorees for the year 2012 are: Woman of the Year, Marta King and Man of the Year, John McNiel. Heritage Award recipients are: Mary Scott and Dale Sally. The event honors those who’s commitment, dedication and teamwork has made a positive impact on the people, quality of life and the business community of Exeter.

The 2012 Business of the Year is By the Water Tower Antiques and the Business Beautification Award recipient is Frosty King.

Sunset Waste Systems is proud to announce its second annual Recycler of the Year Award as Gabe Espinola, Exeter Public Schools who is being recognized an Organization, Business, Individual, School or Recycling Education Program that fits the criteria and who contributes to the recycling efforts in the city of Exeter.
