EXETER — An Exeter man said a riding lawn mower was taken Friday from the area of his home.

Tulare County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 5:48 p.m. to the corner of West Marinette Avenue and North Belmont Street, north of Exeter, to investigate.

Andres Arturo Fernandez said the crime occurred at about 4 p.m. Friday, authorities report. He estimated the loss at about $2,500.
