Filipino cultural celebration this weekend

PORTERVILLE

Fil-Amer Association of California will have a two-day celebration of Filipino culture and heritage starting at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, with the event lasting until the evening of each day, at Veterans Park in Porterville.

The event will include a car show and basketball tournament on Saturday, as well as food, cultural dances and games both days.
