Home break-in nets thieves $14k in personal property

SPRINGVILLE — Thieves broke into a Springville home Tuesday and stole more than $14,000 in property.

Tulare County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called at 5:30 p.m. to investigate the alleged residential burglary.

At the scene, David Wayne Mitchell told deputies that thieves stole miscellaneous electronic items and women’s jewelry from his home in the 16000 block of Cattle Drive in Springville, the Sheriff’s Department reports.
