2 Earlimart men arrested after patrol check

EARLIMART — Two men were arrested Sunday after Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies contacted then during a patrol check.

Deputies were conducting the check at about 3:30 p.m. in an apartment complex on the 100 block of North Church Road when they arrested Juan Ramos.

A second suspect, Octavio Ramos, was also arrested. Ages of the two men were not disclosed.

A crystal-like substance resembling methamphetamine and two glass pipes were allegedly found in Octavio Ramos vehicle along with suspected burglary tools, authorities report.

Both suspects were transported to the Main Jail and booked on suspicion of possession and transportation of a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
