THE PORTERVILLE RECORDER

EARLIMART — A South County man is facing accusations of child molestation involving several children in incidents that reportedly occurred over a number of years.

Information about the case was released late this week.

Tulare County sheriff’s detectives began their investigation at 7 p.m. Monday after receiving information about the alleged molestation of an 11-year-old on the 1200 block of East Franklin Avenue in Earlimart.

Wallace Ray McLain, 63, was booked on suspicion of multiple incidences of alleged child molestation involving several child victims between the ages of 10 and 11 over a three-year period.

McLain was arrested at his home without incident after detectives served a search and arrest warrant.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Rodney Klassen or Sgt. Steve Kennedy, 735-1970.
