EARLIMART — Three men were arrested Wednesday after three victims in the same area reported their vehicles had been burglarized.
Tulare County sheriff’s deputies responded at 8:50 a.m. to the area of Road 144 and Avenue 48 to investigate.
Rudy Nuqui told deputies someone broke the driver’s side window to his vehicle and took his car stereo, the Sheriff’s Department reports. He estimated the loss to be about $140.
Gloria Moreno said someone removed the drivers’s side lock and stole her car stereo, miscellaneous credit cards and $83 in cash along with personal belongings, authorities report. Moreno estimated her loss of about $343.
Elizabeth Flores said someone broke the driver and passenger side windows to her vehicle and took the car stereo, authorities report. Flores estimates the value of her loss to be about $200.
Deputies spoke to a witness, who reportedly provided them with a partial license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle.
A short time later, deputies found the vehicle with occupants Daniel Ontiveros, 18, Arnold Cardenas, 18 and Hector Rivera, 19, driving in the area of Church Road and Sierra Avenue. Deputies allegedly found them to be in possession of the stolen property.
All property was returned to the victims.
Ontiveros, Cardenas and Rivera were booked on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy to commit a crime.
