EARLIMART — A reported incident of excessive noise in Earlimart led to a Porterville man’s arrest for an alleged drug offense.

Tulare County sheriff’s deputies responded to a noise disturbance call at about 11:30 p.m. Monday in the alleyway on the 100 block of South Front Street.

They met Carlos Alberto Hernandez, who lives in Porterville and reportedly had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance.
