South County man sought for hitting son in the face

EARLIMART — A South County man is wanted for allegedly hitting his son Sunday during a family dispute.

Tulare County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called at 10:39 p.m. to the 6900 block of Road 136 to investigate a domestic disturbance. There, deputies learned that Hector Garcia of Earlimart allegedly hit his juvenile son several times in the face.

The assault is being investigated as a felony.
