Porterville woman in solo-car crash accused of DUI

CALIFORNIA HOT SPRINGS — A 58-year-old Porterville woman accused of drunken driving was arrested Wednesday after her car crashed into a tree.
The single-vehicle crash happened about 4:20 a.m. at 43976 Pine Flat Drive, south of Rabbit Foot Trail. The California Highway Patrol reports the woman, identified as Debra Jensen, was driving a 2009 Nissan Cube south on Pine Flat Drive when her car veered off the road and hit a tree.
The road was wet and Jensen was driving in cloudy and foggy conditions, the CHP said.
The woman was not injured and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
