3 arrested for firing shots at home

Tulare County SheriffÂ’s Department deputies were sent to the 24000 block of Avenue 120 when Fred Vandusen called at about 10 p.m. Saturday to complain that shots were fired at his home.

When deputies got there, Vandusen told them that neighbors in a nearby house had fired several shots at his home, and several shotgun pellets struck the house, the SheriffÂ’s Department said in a news release..

Deputies went to the 11000 block of Road 244 where they found several suspects in the backyard.

Deputies took five firearms from the address, 1.5 grams of cocaine and several empty shell casings.

Deputies arrested Talina Mena, Brandon Young and Toney Turrey and booked them into the Porterville Substation.

The ages of the suspects were not released.
