Community Safety Saturday is Sept. 8

William Ritchey Insurance in Delano will host “Community Safety Saturday™” Sept. 8, a free, family-friendly event sponsored by Capital Insurance Group® (CIG).  

The event will feature dozens of activities and demonstrations as well as life-saving information for parents, children and the whole community.  

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at William Ritchey Insurance, 617 Main Street, Delano.

As part of the event, free child car-seat safety inspections will be offered by the Kern County Department of Public Health Services, the California Highway Patrol and Delano Police Department.

There will be many other safety tips offered by various organizations.
