William “Chuck” Strawn, a resident of Porterville, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the age of 46.

Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Whitehurst-Peters-Loyd Chapel.

Service will take place at a later date.

Virginia Ruth Brock
Virginia Ruth Brock, a resident of Porterville, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at the age of 70.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Vandalia Cemetery.

Myers Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Arthur Leland McDarment
Arthur Leland McDarment, a resident of Porterville, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the age of 96.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Myers Chapel.

Private interment will follow cremation.

Gerald ‘Jerry’ Burns
Gerald “Jerry” Burns, a resident of Porterville, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the age of 75.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, at Woodville Cemetery.

Myers Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Aureliano Lazo Moreno
Aureliano Lazo Moreno, a resident of Woodville, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the age of 89.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Myers Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.

Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at St. Anne’s Church.

Burial will be at Woodville Cemetery.
