Information below is provided to The Recorder by the Porterville Police Department. It is noted that only arrests are reported and the suspects have not been found guilty of any crime.

Warrant Arrest / Under the Influence
Officers contacted Ramon Palafox, 37, and he had two confirmed warrants. A female subject identified as Christina Iziquedro, 33, was also contacted, and she was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Both were arrested and booked.
Traffic Unit
The Traffic Unit conducted extra enforcement in the areas of Burton Elementary and Monache High Schools today. Officers responded to Olive Avenue and State Route 65 for a vehicle that rolled off of the freeway and almost onto Olive Avenue. The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to Sierra View District Hospital while CHP conducted the investigation.
Residential Burglary
Officers responded to the 1000 block of North Lime Street regarding a residential burglary. He contacted the victim who reported that suspect(s) entered a partially open window into a converted garage and forced entry by kicking an interior door. The victim will have to conduct an inventory before a loss can be determined.
Burglary / Disconnect a Phone Line
Officers responded to 93 E. Date Ave. regarding an unwanted subject. When they arrived, they contacted Andrew Villanueva, 19, who had once resided in the apartment. The victim stated that Villanueva had moved out over a week ago and came back today to talk to her. When she refused to let him in, he kicked the door open and disconnected the phone as she called 9-1-1. Villanueva was arrested and later booked at the substation.
