RICHGROVE -- A thief stole vehicle rims from a South County man’s backyard.

Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies responded at 5:28 p.m. Wednesday to the 20600 block of Ames Drive in Richgrove to investigate a reported theft.

Victor Perez said someone stole vehicle rims from his back patio at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Department reports.

The loss was estimated at $600.
