Lindsay to present mid-year budget
The Lindsay City Council on Tuesday will hear a mid-year budget update from Tamara Laken, the city finance director.
According to information provided in the council's agenda, from July to December 2012 the city had a revenue summary of $7,249,758 with an expenditure amount of $7,752,046.
Debts for the city include the Library Loan with a beginning balance in July at $545,514 and which has not had any principal payments made, the Wellness Center Loan of which the city has paid $35,146 but still owes $2,061,001 and the Tulare County Association of Governments Settlement of which the city has paid $13,106 but still owes $1,035,337.
Laken will also present the Redevelopment Obligation Retirement Fund (RORF) update as well as an informational item regarding the resolution of audit report findings for 2011.
The council will also consider:
-Acceptance of the Treasurer’s Report for December 2012.
-A request to accept the Sierra View Street Extension project as complete.
-A grant application for the Kaweah Delta Water Conservation District Integrated Regional Water Management.
-council committee appointments.
The Lindsay City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers at City Hall, 251 E. Honolulu St., Lindsay.
