Local charities benefit from Resolution Run

Bank of the Sierra recently hosted its first annual Resolution Run in an effort to raise funds for four local charities.

The charities were determined last September by public vote on Bank of the Sierra’s Facebook page.

The two charities with the most votes, Wish Upon A Star and Golden State YMCA, each received $3,420; while the two runner-up charities, Habitat for Humanity Tulare County and Foodlink Tulare County, were awarded $1,000 each.

“With over 300 participants and the hard work of many volunteers, we believe our first Resolution Run was a huge success,” stated Jim Holly, Bank of the Sierra president and CEO.

“Bank of the Sierra’s community reinvestment efforts are a microcosm of the bank’s longstanding commitment to its customers and communities,” continued Holly.
