Strathmore teen held in burglary

PORTERVILLE

Porterville Police officers arrested Marcos Navarro, 19 of Strathmore, on suspicion of burglary after a home in the 1600 block of West Kanai Ave, was burglarized.

Police got a call about the burglary just before noon on Thursday. The victim reported that sometime within the last hour someone had forced entry into her residence and took a video gaming system and several video games.

During the course of the investigation, officers identified the suspect as Navarro.  He was tracked down in the Strathmore area where he was arrested without incident. He was booked into the Tulare County Jail.
