Three people were treated for minor injuries after a traffic collision Sunday evening at the intersection of Avenue 208 and Road 228, the California Highway Patrol reports.

At just after 6 p.m., Elias A. Bravo, 42, of Strathmore was driving his 2006 Ford east on Avenue 208 when he ran a stop sign, the CHP reports. Bravo’s car entered the intersection at approximately 10 mph, where it was struck by a 1999 Chevrolet driven by Rhonda L. Tenbroeck, 53, of Lindsay, the report said.

Tenbroeck’s car was traveling between 50 and 55 mph at the time of the collision, according to the CHP, and the impact forced her car into a power pole on the east side of Road 228.

Bravo, Tenbroeck, and her passenger, Robert P. Edwards, 49, of Lindsay, all sustained minor injuries and received treatment at Sierra View District Hospital, the CHP reports.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
