Fugitive sought in shooting
Case: Man dies after suffering gunshot wound.
Police are asking for the publicÂ’s help in locating a Visalia man suspected of killing another man earlier this month.
William D. Bratton, 37, fatally injured Patrick Perry during the early morning hours of July 5 in the 31000 block of Road 68 in Goshen, Tulare County SheriffÂ’s Department officials said.
Deputies found Perry at the location suffering from one gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Perry was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He died a day later.
Detectives identified Bratton as the suspect and warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
"If you see him, you should contact the SheriffÂ’s Department or local law enforcement," Sgt. Chris Douglass said. "We are asking the public not to try to detain him because we do consider him an armed suspect."
Officials urge anyone with information about BrattonÂ’s whereabouts or the incident to call Sgt. Eric Velasquez or Detective Lupe Shade at 733-6218 or 733-6523.
