Special SVDH board meeting today

PORTERVILLE

The Sierra View Local Health Care District board of Directors will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. today in the SVDH Board Room.

On the consent agenda are several business recommendations for approval, including the appointment of Della Myers as food and nutrition services director for 2013; an update of final plans and project budget for the hospital’s new linear accelerator; and an update and budget on the laboratory replacement project.

A closed session will follow, as the board continues conference with legal counsel regarding threatened litigation and continues discussion pertaining to the hospital’s CEO position.
