Citrus High School hosting blood drive
The administration, faculty and students at Citrus High School are hosting a blood drive at a blood mobile in the parking lot from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 25. Donors will receive a variety of discounts from Valley businesses for dining, recreation, entertainment, and services. Blood donation takes less than one hour to complete.
“The holidays are almost here which means more folks will be traveling the freeways for extended periods and unfortunately more accidents happen. The Central California Blood Center needs your help to be prepared by making sure we have an adequate blood supply for our Valley hospitals,” said Chris Sorensen, Director of Community Relations and Development.
“We appreciate our faithful donors and also encourage first time donors to please consider giving the gift of life. Aside from feeling great about helping, someone you care about may be one of those in need.”
Photo ID and Social Security Number are required at donor registration.
