Two wounded by shotgun blasts
Two men, ages 20 and 27, were wounded when they were struck with shotgun blasts about 11:15 p.m. Saturday.
The shooting, which appears to be gang related, occurred in the 900 block of East Orange Avenue, reported the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday.
According to deputies, when they arrived on scene they found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals. The 20-year-old underwent surgery and is currently in stable condition while the 27-year-old was treated and released.
Authorities said the two men were in the front yard when a group of male subjects approached on foot. Two of the males began firing a shotgun at the victims. Both were struck in the upper body.
