Authorities seek runaway Badger girl

Authorities are searching for a 12-year-old girl who reportedly ran away from home on Monday.

Amber Kightlinger was last seen wearing a long red dress/T-shirt with a silver cross and silver heart on the front, and green pajama pants, the Tulare County Sheriff's Department reports. She ran away from the 5000 block of Eshom Valley Drive in Badger.

Authorities report that Amber is possibly in the Miramonte, Fresno or Badger area.

Amber is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Detective Cesar Fernandez or Sgt. Steve Kennedy, 735-1898 or toll-free, 1-800-808-0488.
