Freeze has taken its toll on pipes

Grand Avenue Methodist Church Pastor Tom Buratovich had not had time to survey the damage to his Fellowship Hall Tuesday morning after a fire sprinkler pipe burst, sending hundreds of gallons water throughout the two story building.

The church was one of several calls plumbers and restoration businesses have been called to the past couple of days as temperatures have plunged into the low-20s. The Recorder had a pipe on the roof burst Monday morning.
