32nd Apple Festival is October 20 and 21.
The 32nd Annual Springville Apple Festival is Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20 and 21 in downtown Springville.
More than 145 food, arts and crafts booths will be available to festival-goers.
Kids can revel in Family Town with rides and games. Story Book Characters stroll the avenue and kids can delight to the clowns offering face painting and balloon art.
The Springville Mountain Lions will have a pancake breakfast both days at 7 a.m. Chaparral and the Wild Oats Band will be live both days at the Gazebo in the Park.
The Festival offers free parking at the Springville Rodeo Grounds and Eagle Mountain Casino provides free shuttle buses back and forth to town. There is no entrance fee.
Saturday features the Apple Run — a 10K and 5K road race. There is also a 2K walk and ½ mile kid’s race.
On Sunday, bicycle enthusiasts can participate in an 8-mile closed-circuit mountain bike race called the Fat Tire Classic. Race categories include everything from experienced to beginners including a kids’ race for children 11 years old and younger.
Booths open at 9 a.m. each day.
