Pair booked after alleged Alpaugh attack, vandalism

ALPAUGH — Two Alpaugh residents reportedly struck an Alpaugh man several times and vandalized his motorcycle with the vehicle they were driving.
Jerry Dunlap, 47, contacted Tulare County sheriff’s deputies at 11:18 a.m. Sunday to report the alleged crimes, which occurred at 3256 Avenue 62, northwest of Alpaugh.
Kevin Reed, 38, and Libby Stephens, 43, were taken into custody and booked.
Dunlap estimated the damage at $1,000.
