Man arrested for alleged drug use nearby in Pixley

PIXLEY — A man caught wandering the streets this weekend was arrested for a suspected drug offense.

Miguel Lara, 32, was arrested at 9 p.m. Saturday for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies initially stopped Lara when they reportedly saw him walking in the middle of the road on the 600 block of East Compton Avenue.

He was arrested and booked on suspicion of drug use.
