PC women fall to Feather River

With only eight players, Porterville College eventually wore down against Feather River in the Crossover Challenge pitting teams between the Central Valley Conference and Golden Valley Conference at Siskiyous.

PC led 23-15 late in the first half when Feather River ended the half with an 18-9 run to take a 33-32 halftime lead. Feather River then went on a 19-8 run to begin the second half to take a 52-40 lead.

Katrina Goulbourne had a double-double for PC with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Also for Porterville, Jeidi Gutierrez had 10 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Eva Gutierrez had 16 points and three assists, Destiny Zarate had eight points and 10 rebounds and Jackie Padron added six points.
