PC women fall to Siskiyous

Porterville College lost to Siskiyous, ranked in the top six in Northern California and the top 15 in the state, in the Crossover Challenge pitting teams from the Central Valley Conference and the Golden Valley Conference at Siskiyous.
The game was tied 14-14 when Siskiyous took control with a 20-0 run. Evan Gutierrez had 16 points and five assists, Jackie Padron and Alia Alvarez each scored nine points, Katrina Goulbourne had six points and five rebounds, Destiny Zarate had eight points and Jeidi Gutierrez added seven points for PC, which plays Feather River, a 95-41 loser to Fresno City on Friday, at 11 a.m. today.
