Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2 at 10 AM at Lindsay Strathmore Public Cemetery for Fay Wilson 85, of Lindsay and formerly of Porterville who passed away June 30. Pastor Billy Hurt will officiate and interment will follow.

Fay was born February 14, 1924 in Porterville to Thomas and Eva Hafley and was raised and attended all local schools. She married William F. Wilson in 1941 and in addition to being a loving wife and mother, she enjoyed quilting, stitchery, painting, fishing and traveling with her family. Fay was preceded in death by her husband William F. Wilson Sr. and by a great granddaughter Brittany Newkirk. She is survived by her son William F. Wilson Jr. and wife Kay of Whitebird, ID; by her daughter Jackie Newkirk and husband Tom of Lindsay; her twin sister May Hunt of Baton Rouge, LA; her brothers Chuck Hafley of Visalia and Tom Hafley of San Carlos; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends..

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 1 from 3 to 6 PM.

Webb-Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
