Identify drug users
Editor,
It is unfortunate that drug use and crime are not diminished by well meaning prayer (even at city hall) or public meetings as proven by the daily police blotters.
A better approach, might be for all of us, is to first identify who the drug users are. They may be the people who drive recklessly, with one headlight or tailight, never use turn signals or who drive through yellow/red lights. Another even more foolproof way of identifing druggies: they are almost always, the people who use the words “no” and “nothing” in conversation rather than the correct form “any” and “anything”.
Once identified, watch for suspicious or criminal behavior and report to appropriate authorities.
Do this even if they are family members or close friends. In the long run, you will be doing them a favor.
