Thanks for support
Editor,
Summit Charter Academy PTO, Inc. would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank all those individuals and businesses who were so generous as to donate time and money to ensure that our annual Spookfest carnival was a success.
First, thank you to all the parents who donated countless hours dedicated to planning, shopping, cooking dinner, setting up, selling tickets and donating items and helping with the raffle. The staff and administration at both the SCA Mathew campus and Summit Charter Collegiate Academy are to be commended for their planning, dedication and donations. Thank you to the janitors for all your hard work and the students at Summit Charter Collegiate Academy for your much needed help. Thank you to the following businesses for your generous donations and assistance: Giovanni’s Pizzeria, The Miceli Insurance Agency, The City of Porterville, Action Rental, Pizza Factory, Wal-Mart Distribution Center, Fresno State Athletics, Disney Company.
We also want to especially thank Kohl’s in Porterville for volunteering their time at the event and for their very generous donation, and the REACT team for keeping Spookfest a safe place to be.
Without the generosity of the individuals and businesses above, we would not have been able to give to our students the funds needed to purchase items that would not otherwise be provided. We are truly grateful!
Joanne Bear, president
Summit Charter Academy PTO, Inc.
