4 players score in Spartans' shutout

Strathmore 4, Parlier 0

The Spartans notched another victory in its quest to repeat last season’s march to the No. 1 seed in the Division V playoffs as they defeated Parlier, 4-0.

Lauren Brown, Taylor Brown, Hailey Tsuboi and Andrea Gutierrez each scored to give the Spartans a running start into this weekend’s Strathmore Tournament, where they kick off against Dinuba at 1:30 p.m., Friday.

The JV squad, behind goals from Sasha Garcia, Maria Martinez and Sonia Orozco, defeated their counterparts 3-0.
