See latest Barn play
Editor,
It has been said that laughter is the best medicine, so if you are having a need for your aches and pains, go see the Barn Theaters’ production of “A Flea In Her Ear”. I know you will come out feeling better than when you went in.
The “French Farce” type of production which combines veteran actors such as Wesley Cox, Buzz Pierson, Steve Ross, Royal Garrison and Marty Ferguson, and new comers such as Kevin Wilson, Amy Minor, and Caitlin Hill bring down the house with their wit and timing.
Some of he supporting actors include Mel Gosage, Coco Ferguson, Rebecca Tovar, Robert Vanderhorst and Frank Cuffman, in his hilarious protrayal of Mahi Ravvi ,lend their comedy ability to the play which will keep you laughing. Directed by Nicki Edwards and Caroline Harris, the pair who directed the award winning “Driving Miss Daisy, really show their ability to direct a large cast as well as keep the timing in this very fast paced production.
The set design is equally clever with a mysterious disappearing bed, and some very amusing costumes. This peformance of “A Flea In Her Ear” is best suited for adults and ends this coming weekend.
Go, have a laugh, and feel lucky we have a place where we can keep live stage performances alive.
