Arrest made in school burglary

A Terra Bella man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with a break-in at Carl Smith Middle School in Terra Bella in July.

On July 25, someone broke into the school office and fled with cameras and computers.

The investigation eventually led to Sonny Ozuna. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Department reported that Ozuna was also tied to a vehicle burglary in the Springville area on Aug. 19.

Ozuna was taken into custody at his residence for the two burglary cases and was booked into the Tulare County jail without further incident.
