BREAKING: Gas leak at Porterville Adult School building sends 16 to hospital

A refrigerator gas leak at Porterville Unified School District’s kitchen facilities sent 16 employees to area hospitals Tuesday morning.

All of the employees complained of minor to moderate levels of respiratory distress.

Porterville Fire Department responded, the problem resolved and school cleared for employees to return.
