You donÂ’t like mistakes and neither do we. It is the policy of The Porterville Recorder to correct substantive errors in a timely manner. To that end:

— Due to a reporting error on the part of a staff member contributing to Sarah Elizabeth Villicana’s report in the Aug. 10 print and online editions of Minutemen Civil Defense Corps Executive Director Carl Braun’s visit in Visalia, it was incorrectly reported that Porterville Mayor Cameron Hamilton left prior to the conclusion of Braun’s talk. Hamilton remained for the entire talk. The correction was posted Aug. 10 with the online version of the report, but due to an editing error was not published in the Aug. 11 print edition.
