Kick addiction, eat barbecued food in Porterville

Proceeds from a barbecue dinner will benefit the Celebrate Recovery program.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12-step program for anyone struggling with addiction or hurt.
The barbecue starts at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Westfield Christian Church, 1222 N. Prospect St. A recovery meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $3.50.
