No reason to gloat

Editor,

Regarding Chuck Keen’s “Happy Democrat” letter of Nov. 23, I must say it is extremely bad manners for a “winner” to gloat. In my opinion, the voters were once again faced with two bad choices and we picked the worst. Once the full force of Obamacare kicks in we will have to see how Mr. Keen likes his Medicare.

As for bringing home the troops, Mr. Obama will have had 5-plus years to end this debacle. Another war fought with one hand behind our troop’s backs. More of our youth killed and more of our borrowed money thrown away.

We can look forward to an even bigger national debt, more tax and more spend. Four years ago, Mr. Obama was going to rebuild America’s infrastructure and improve our schools, etc. After disposing of more trillions of dollars where is the promised change? Still W’s fault I guess.

As for California, oh joy be grateful. We are already seeing more taxes, which is just the beginning. More money for the Dems to squander, like they have for decades. Watch for the “wonderful” high-speed rail coming soon to a station near you and other innovative ways to waste tax dollars.

From where I stand the view doesn’t present anything to gloat about.
