Waste rate increase

There will be an open meeting shortly to hear public comments on a proposed rate increase for this disposal company. Last week the truck came down my street as usual picking up the cans placed at the side of the street. If able, I always check to see if my neighbor, who is affected by Alzheimer’s and has a wife who is unable to push the can to the curb, has put the can out.

He had not and I was too far away to beat the truck.  

To my amazement, the driver stopped, stepped down from the truck, retrieved the can from the side of the house, and dumped the contents into the truck. This extra effort by this employee makes me want to affirm the rate increase. I will call Waste Management and recommend management commend this employee.
