My wife and I would like to thank the Porterville Police Department for their quick response to the break-in at the Sears store on Jaye St. on Nov. 4. It was an outstanding job of investigation that lead to the recovery of one of the items that was taken. Chief McMillan should be very proud of his police force, as they do an outstanding job for the community.
