Daniel Tobias Powell
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Daniel Tobias Powell, age 28, resident of Porterville passed away on Thursday October 23, 2008 in Porterville.
Daniel was born in Lindsay on February 4, 1980. He was raised in Porterville by his parents, Mary Ann and Bill Powell. He attended Porterville High School and graduated in 1999.
Daniel was a rambunctious child who was always found outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and above all driving his siblings crazy. Daniel loved to laugh, living life to the fullest. Daniel was an amazing friend, always up for any adventures. He simply knew no stranger and loved everyone deeply.
Daniel was also an incredible father and uncle. He loved his children, nieces and nephews greatly. He always had time for any and all children. All of the children in his life were drawn to his carefree attitude, imagination and willingness to jump into any game.
Daniel had various jobs but his greatest joy was working for the community as a volunteer fire fighter and driving for Eagle Mountain Casino.
Surviving family includes his two children Hailey Ann and Tanner Joe. He also leaves behind his father, Bill Powell, three sisters Jessica, Kimberly and Lily and a brother, Jeremy Powell. Daniel is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann, brother, Joshua and loving friend, Rolly Ralph.
Daniel’s loving heart, upbeat attitude and smile will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, October 29th at 4pm at Heritage Park located at 225 S. Westwood. There will be a BBQ and potluck for family and friends directly following the service. For further information please contact Myers Funeral Service.
