Wants cell phone back

Editor,

This letter is to inform people how kind and honest we should be to others. I am hoping this letter put kindness in people hearts and changes the way we need to think about what others might be dealing with. I recently lost my cell phone the day before Christmas.

My cell means a lot to me because I got it in October from my husband who recently passed away. My husband passed away on Dec. 8, 2012. I been with this man nearly 16 years and on Nov. 10, 2012 we got married because I wanted to make his life as complete as possible if anything should have happened to him. He was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis in November 2003 and has been living a good life up until his recent death.

My phone means a lot to me because this was the last thing he bought me I wanted to treasure it as long as I could, I hope that if someone finds it they will call the home phone number on it and make my wish come true. I hope that people who find things like this realize that people do have issues in their life and if anything is found they do the right thing and return it. I know I do when I find something. I may touch the hearts of someone when I do good deeds.

It was a Galaxy II with a purple case and my husband’s pictures are on it. Please if you find it please give me a call or return it to the Porterville Recorder so they may contact me. I am wishing on a star on this one. Thank you.
