Frank Allen Peterson

THE PORTERVILLE RECORDER

Frank Allen Peterson passed away in a quiet sleep November 13, 2009.  He was a native of Strathmore attending local schools and the business college in Fresno.  He was a general contractor and co-owner of Alinda Irrigation, designing and installing much of California's irrigation systems locally, on the West side and Napa Valley.

Allen loved woodworking, his family and friends.  He enjoyed sitting in his open shop carport on the top of his hill anytime of the day and during the night enjoying the lights below and the view of the entire valley.

He's survived by his wife Myrna and her mother Jessie Edwards, daughters Dana and husband Jim Ingels, Stacy and John Flynn and granddaughters MacKenzy and Hally, sons Christopher Peterson and Andre Guerrero and wife Laura and grandchildren Brennan and Jessica, several nieces and nephews and countless friends and relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Stan and Helen Peterson, sister Marilyn Neel and father-in-law Marvin Edwards.

Allen quietly gave back to God and the community through numerous volunteer services. One was particularly close to him and if you wish to honor his memory, you may do so by donating to the Terra Bella Relief Fund c/o P.O. Box 9221, Terra Bella, CA 93270.

Allen requested there would be no services.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.myersfuneral.com.  Myers Funeral Service & Crematory in Porterville is in charge of arrangements.
